Service bulletin PIT6290A
A bulletin is a manufacturer's communication to its dealers, as NHTSA indexes it. The summary is NHTSA's. The document is the manufacturer's: read it at NHTSA. A bulletin is not a recall, and listing a model year does not mean every vehicle of it is concerned.

NHTSA's summary
This Preliminary information communicates a vehicle may be encountered with a concern of heat blowing cold at times, a whistling noise and P0534. Any or all of these conditions may be noted by a technician or customer. The dealer technician is directed to test the temperature at the condenser check valve, inspect the valve and inspect the line for a possible issue with the opening in the line. A procedure is given to modify the line if needed.
