## NHTSA's summary

Some 2022 – 2024 model year Tundra and 2023 model year Highlander vehicles may exhibit a MIL ON condition with Diagnostic Trouble Codes \(DTCs\) P162B87 \(Lost Communication with Battery Monitor Module Missing Message\) and/or P15AD87 \(Active Grille Air Shutter "A" Missing\) present. The battery state sensor assembly has been updated to prevent the condition from occurring.
