McNeilus Truck and Manufacturing, Inc. states that making any changes to the eZR Low Voltage \(LV\) wiring system on Battery Electric Vehicle \(BEV\) units have been shown to, in some instances, affect the ability of the system to properly charge. Typically, BEV systems rely on a complete sleep mode during charging; therefore, any changes that affect the ignition key\-off state of the vehicle have been shown especially likely to impact the charging procedure.
