## NHTSA's summary

Mercedes\-Benz AG, the manufacturer of Mercedes\-Benz vehicles, has determined that on certain MY 2018 S\-Class \(222 platform\) vehicles, the engine control unit software does not correspond to current Specifications. As a consequence, the evaporative leak detection system may not reliably detect leaks of 0.5 millimeters. MBUSA will conduct a service campaign. An authorized Mercedes\-Benz dealer will update the engine control unit software.
