Service bulletin LI07.61-P-078629

A bulletin is a manufacturer's communication to its dealers, as NHTSA indexes it. The summary is NHTSA's. The document is the manufacturer's: read it at NHTSA. A bulletin is not a recall, and listing a model year does not mean every vehicle of it is concerned.

NHTSA's summary

Complaint After performing a software update either for recall campaign 2023070022 or general course of diagnosis the vehicle will not start and/or the software flash will not complete. Cause Newer software releases are incompatible with older HW object numbers (ME part numbers). Remedy If a no start condition is encountered after a software update, check the ME and VGS control unit part numbers. Open an XSF ticket with the PN's and explain what software is attempting to be flashed. Afterwards continue with the repair as normal and quality check the vehicle. If any issues arise open a TIPS case and forward it to market support.
