# Service campaign B160224

A bulletin is a manufacturer's communication to its dealers, as NHTSA indexes it. The summary is NHTSA's. The document is the manufacturer's: read it at NHTSA. A bulletin is not a recall, and listing a model year does not mean every vehicle of it is concerned.

- Type: Service campaign
- NHTSA id: 11010757
- Published by NHTSA: 2024\-11\-25
- Manufacturer's number: B160224
- Manufacturer's date: 2024\-11\-15
- Campaign id or software version: 0016870200
- NHTSA component: FUEL/PROPULSION SYSTEM

## NHTSA's summary

There may be a restriction in the low\-pressure fuel line at the tank flange for the in\-tank delivery pump \(lowpressure pump\). As a result, the required fuel flow volume is not available. If there is an insufficient supply offuel \(even if only for a very brief period\), the high\-pressure pump might suffer preliminary damage. Inaddition, in the event of a fault, there might be a power reduction or “jerking” motions while driving.

## Other bulletins for the same vehicles and component

- [B160225](/bulletins/11027759.md), 2026-01-23, Service campaign: FUEL/PROPULSION SYSTEM. The assembly cover on the left side of the fuel tank may not have been properly plastic welded. Thiscould lead to a smell of fuel after refueling or service engine soon light \(MIL\) for an evaporative leakin the fuel system.
- [B120625](/bulletins/11018545.md), 2025-05-26, Service campaign: FUEL/PROPULSION SYSTEM. The electrical connector for the bank 1 high pressure pump may not have been locked correctly.
- [B160224](/bulletins/11006722.md), 2024-09-01, Service campaign: FUEL/PROPULSION SYSTEM. - [B160224](/bulletins/11005214.md), 2024-07-25, Service campaign: FUEL/PROPULSION SYSTEM. DELIVERY STOP: FUEL PUMP DELIVERY PRESSURE
- [B160123](/bulletins/10249015.md), 2024-02-01, Service bulletin: FUEL SYSTEM, GASOLINE. A vehicle arrives at your center to be diagnosed for a micro\-leak in the fuel evaporative \(EVAP\) system\(NVLD natural vacuum leak detection\). For this condition, the following fault is stored in the DME: 190302 \- fuel tank ventilation and scavenging air system, micro\-leak: leakage more than 0.5mm For: Model vehicles other that the ones listed above, or for EVAP faults related to a “large leak,” after confirming that the fuel filler cap is fitted properly, then, proceed to follow the corresponding test plan
- [B160623](/bulletins/10247567.md), 2024-01-03, Service bulletin: FUEL SYSTEM, GASOLINE; ENGINE AND ENGINE COOLING. Engine will crank but not start. There is no communication with the integrated fuel module \(TFE\) whendiagnosing with ISTA. The following two fault codes will be stored in the DME: 032B43 \- Low fuel pressure system, electric fuel pump: pressure value too low CDA594 \- Message \(\- 0x33E\) missing, receiver DME, transmitter TFE
