## NHTSA's summary

This owner notification letter informs owners that Cummins Inc. has launched a campaign that may affect their X15 engine\(s\). The subject engines may not be meeting certain aftertreatment and on\-board diagnostic \(OBD\) performance requirements, specifically that the OBD system may be unable to detect a fault in the Selective Catalytic Reduction Conversion Efficiency monitor before NOx emissions exceed the emissions limit. As a result, NOx emissions may exceed prescribed standards.
