# Emissions 24E12

A bulletin is a manufacturer's communication to its dealers, as NHTSA indexes it. The summary is NHTSA's. The document is the manufacturer's: read it at NHTSA. A bulletin is not a recall, and listing a model year does not mean every vehicle of it is concerned.

- Type: Emissions
- NHTSA id: 11009827
- Published by NHTSA: 2024\-11\-05
- Manufacturer's number: 24E12
- Manufacturer's date: 2024\-10\-22
- NHTSA component: UNKNOWN OR OTHER

## NHTSA's summary

The affected vehicles have a Powertrain Control Module \(PCM\) calibration that could, over time, reduce the effectiveness of the emissions control system and the monitoring accuracy of the catalytic converter’s efficiency. As a result, the Malfunction Indicator Light \(MIL\) may illuminate for low catalyst efficiency even though a catalytic converter repair may not be necessary.
