## NHTSA's summary

Mercedes\-Benz AG has determined that on certain MY 2023\-2024 S\-Class \(223 platform\) vehicles, the software of the powertrain control unit does not correspond to current production specifications. As a result, the driver may sense brief hesitation during a shift operation. MBUSA will conduct a service campaign. An authorized Mercedes\-Benz dealer will update the powertrain control unit software.
