# Service bulletin TSB 24\-2251

A bulletin is a manufacturer's communication to its dealers, as NHTSA indexes it. The summary is NHTSA's. The document is the manufacturer's: read it at NHTSA. A bulletin is not a recall, and listing a model year does not mean every vehicle of it is concerned.

## NHTSA's summary

This article supersedes TSB 24\-2087 to update the vehicle lines, model years affected, action and service procedure. Some 2021\-2024 Mustang Mach\-E/F\-150, 2022\-2024 F\-150 Lightning/Expedition/Navigator, 2023\-2024 Corsair vehicles may exhibit an inoperative BlueCruise and lane centering with DTCs U2018:51 stored in the camera module \- rear \(CMR\) and U0565:86 stored in the image processing module A \(IPMA\) without DTC U3000:49 stored in the CMR. This may be due to the software level of the CMR. To correct the condition, follow the Service Procedure to reprogram the CMR module using the latest software level of the Ford Diagnosis and Repair System \(FDRS\).

Some 2025\-2026 Aviator/Explorer/Expedition/F\-150/Mustang Mach\-E/Navigator vehicles may exhibit the hands\-free BlueCruise feature intermittently/consistently unavailable when BlueCruise is active and when traveling in a "Blue Zone". Speed sign recognition may also be inaccurate. If there are no active relevant diagnostic trouble codes \(DTC\) present and the issue persists after multiple key cycles and if the BlueCruise System Health Check passes, download and run the "TCU \- Reset Telematics Control Unit \(TCU\) Module" application using the latest software level of the Ford Diagnosis and Repair System \(FDRS\). If the condition is resolved, inform customers that this may be a temporary fix and engineering is currently working on a solution expected in Q4 2026. Monitor Professional Technician System \(PTS\) for additional information and schedule service appointments for customers once the repair becomes available. For claiming, use causal 14G229 and labor operations 12651D and 12651D4. If the condition persists after a test drive, refer to Workshop Manual \(WSM\), Section 419\-03B for normal diagnosti

Some 2022\-2024 Expedition/Navigator vehicles equipped with minor feature codes DBCBB or DBCBC may exhibit various driver assistance feature warning messages displayed in the instrument panel cluster \(IPC\). Additionally, some modules may store diagnostic trouble codes \(DTCs\) related to invalid data or lost communication. This condition may be due to the software in the image processing module A \(IPMA\), disrupting network communication. If the IPMA is currently failing to communicate, download and run the "IPMA \- Image Processing Module A \(IPMA\) Recovery" app in the Ford Diagnosis and Repair System \(FDRS\) scan tool. Select and run the IPMA Recovery Flash Erase option from the apps menu. If the driver assistance warnings and/or symptoms are intermittent, and possibly not failing during the dealership visit, download and run the "IPMA \- Image Processing Module A \(IPMA\) Recovery" app in the FDRS scan tool. Select and run the GWM Ethernet Update option from the apps menu. If IPMA communication had to be restored using the Recovery App, download and run the "IPMA \- Image Processing Module \(IPMA\) Alignm
