Service bulletin TSB 24-2250

A bulletin is a manufacturer's communication to its dealers, as NHTSA indexes it. The summary is NHTSA's. The document is the manufacturer's: read it at NHTSA. A bulletin is not a recall, and listing a model year does not mean every vehicle of it is concerned.

NHTSA's summary

Some 2022-2023 F-150 Lightning vehicles may exhibit an intermittent passive entry feature inoperative or only working when the key fob is a few inches away from the handle, even though the 12V battery state of charge (SOC) is over 50% and no diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs) are stored in the BCM. This may be due to the configuration of the body control module (BCM). To correct this condition, follow the Service Procedure to perform the Body Control Module (BCM) - Programmable Module Installation (PMI) application using the latest software version of the Ford Diagnosis and Repair System (FDRS) scan tool.
