# Service bulletin SSM 52775

A bulletin is a manufacturer's communication to its dealers, as NHTSA indexes it. The summary is NHTSA's. The document is the manufacturer's: read it at NHTSA. A bulletin is not a recall, and listing a model year does not mean every vehicle of it is concerned.

## NHTSA's summary

Some 2024 Bronco vehicles built on and before 23\-Jun\-2024 may exhibit a no crank/no start, discharged battery due to a parasitic battery drain condition. This may be due to the body control module C \(BCMC\). Perform battery drain test, refer to Workshop Manual \(WSM\) Section 414\-01 Battery, Mounting and Cables \- General Procedures \- Battery Drain Check. If a battery drain of more than 1 Amp is identified, inspect fuse 8 in the BCMC for available voltage with the vehicle off and resting. If voltage is found, verify the draw is eliminated by removing fuse 8. If removing the fuse eliminates the draw, replace the BCMC.
