Service bulletin SSM 52758

A bulletin is a manufacturer's communication to its dealers, as NHTSA indexes it. The summary is NHTSA's. The document is the manufacturer's: read it at NHTSA. A bulletin is not a recall, and listing a model year does not mean every vehicle of it is concerned.

NHTSA's summary

Some 2025 Aviator vehicles may have diagnostic trouble code (DTC) B1519:13 stored in the door control module E/F/G/H (DCME, DCMF, DCMG and/or DCMH). If this DTC is identified during ePDI or normal diagnostics for various concerns, this DTC does not affect vehicle durability and no additional diagnosis or service is required for this DTC at this time. Inform customers that they can continue to drive the vehicle and engineering is currently working on a solution for this condition that is expected in Q4 2024. Replacement or reprogramming of these modules will not resolve this DTC.
