# Service bulletin T\-TT\-0694\-22 Rev2

A bulletin is a manufacturer's communication to its dealers, as NHTSA indexes it. The summary is NHTSA's. The document is the manufacturer's: read it at NHTSA. A bulletin is not a recall, and listing a model year does not mean every vehicle of it is concerned.

## NHTSA's summary

After jump\-starting, the vehicle may experience a no\-start condition and multiple DTCs including U010087. Upon investigation, it is found that the engine ECU has been damaged and needs to be replaced. In several cases, it was found that the cause of the ECU damage was improper jump starting. Further investigation found that ECU damage may occur if the negative \(ground\) cable clamps are attached on or around the engine ECU or ECU mounting bracket.
