Service bulletin SSM 52467
A bulletin is a manufacturer's communication to its dealers, as NHTSA indexes it. The summary is NHTSA's. The document is the manufacturer's: read it at NHTSA. A bulletin is not a recall, and listing a model year does not mean every vehicle of it is concerned.

NHTSA's summary
Some 2022 F-Super Duty vehicles equipped with a 12.3 inch center display screen and 2023-2024 F-Super Duty vehicles may exhibit DTCs B1D08 and/or B1D09 stored in the trailer module (TRM) with a Trailer Brake System Fault See Manual message in the instrument panel cluster (IPC) when a trailer is not connected to the vehicle. This may be due to water intrusion at the back side of the trailer tow connector. Disconnect connector C4099 from the back of the trailer tow connector (14489). Inspect connector C4099 and the mating socket on the back of the trailer tow connector for signs of corrosion or damage. If corrosion or damage is present at either connector, replace both the female side of the C4099 connector using service pig tail kit (3U2Z-14S411-JXC) and the trailer tow connector. If corrosion or damage is not present, refer to the Workshop Manual (WSM) Section 417-01 Exterior Lighting, Diagnosis and Testing for additional diagnosis. For claiming, use causal part 13A576 and applicable labor operations in Section 01 of the Service Labor Time Standards (SLTS) Manual.

| SSM 52363 | 2024-04-04. Service bulletin. Some 2023-2024 F-Super Duty vehicles equipped with a trailer brake control module may exhibit a Trailer Disconnected message after cycling the ignition off and back on with a trailer connected. This may be due to the presence of an integrated battery charger on a trailer equipped with electric over hydraulic brakes. If trailer functionality is restored after unplugging and plugging the trailer connector back in while the ignition is on, this condition can be corrected by downloading and performing the Trailer Brake Configuration application using the latest version of the Ford Diagnosis and Repair System (FDRS) diagnostic scan tool. For claiming, use causal part 19H332 and applicable labor operations in Section 10 of the Service Labor Time Standards (SLTS) Manual. |

| SSM 51601 | 2023-05-24. Service bulletin. Some 2021-2023 F-150 and 2022-2023 F-Super Duty/Expedition/Navigator/Maverick vehicles equipped with an integrated trailer module (iTRM) may exhibit a trailer lamp fault message with various related diagnostic trouble codes (DTC). Most trailer emulator testers will not draw enough current to correctly diagnose these concerns. They may be used to diagnose basic functionality of the iTRM, however, some trailer emulator testers may cause false trailer lamp fault messages to appear. The customer's trailer should be used for diagnosis instead of a trailer emulator tester. Refer to Workshop Manual (WSM), Section 417-01 for normal diagnostics. |
