# Service bulletin TSB 24\-2066

A bulletin is a manufacturer's communication to its dealers, as NHTSA indexes it. The summary is NHTSA's. The document is the manufacturer's: read it at NHTSA. A bulletin is not a recall, and listing a model year does not mean every vehicle of it is concerned.

- NHTSA id: 10252546
- Published by NHTSA: 2024\-04\-03
- Manufacturer's number: TSB 24\-2066

## NHTSA's summary

This TSB supersedes article 24\-2036 to update the vehicles affected. Some 2023\-2024 F\-Super Duty pickup vehicles built on or before 02\-Jan\-2024 equipped with a 6.7L engine may exhibit an illuminated MIL with diagnostic trouble codes \(DTC\) P0133, P0139, and/or P0145 stored in the powertrain control module \(PCM\). This may be due to the software in the PCM and does not affect vehicle operation.

## Recalls for the same vehicles and component

- [23V625000](/recalls/nhtsa/23V625000.md), 2023-09-08: POWER TRAIN:AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION:INTERNAL:PARK PAWL

## Other bulletins for the same vehicles and component

- [SSM 52389](/bulletins/10252647.md), 2024-04-04, Service bulletin: POWER TRAIN:AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION:CONTROL MODULE \(TCM/PCM/TECM\); POWER TRAIN:MANUAL TRANSMISSION:CONTROL MODULE \(TCM/PCM/TECM\). Some 2022\-2024 F\-Super Duty vehicles equipped with a 6.7L engine may exhibit an illuminated malfunction indicator lamp \(MIL\) with only diagnostic trouble code \(DTC\) U3012 stored in the PCM. If no drivability concerns or other DTCs are present, perform normal diagnostics per the Workshop Manual \(WSM\). If diagnostics lead to the powertrain control module \(PCM\) or body control module \(BCM\), the replacement of the PCM and/or the BCM will not resolve this concern. This illuminated MIL with DTC U3012 does not affect vehicle durability and no additional diagnosis or service is required for this condition at this time. Inform customers that they can continue to drive the vehicle and engineering is currently working on a solution for this condition. Monitor OASIS for additional information and schedule service appointments for customers once the repair becomes available.
- [TSB 24\-2083](/bulletins/10252609.md), 2024-04-03, Service bulletin: ELECTRICAL SYSTEM; ELECTRICAL SYSTEM:SOFTWARE. This article supersedes TSB 24\-2030 to update the production fix date. Some 2023\-2024 F\-Super Duty vehicles built on or before 07\-Feb\-2024 and equipped with a 6.7L engine may exhibit an intermittent interruption of a split shaft PTO system installed by an upfitter. This may be due to the software in the powertrain control module \(PCM\).
- [TSB 24\-2055](/bulletins/10252530.md), 2024-04-03, Service bulletin: POWER TRAIN:MANUAL TRANSMISSION:CONTROL MODULE \(TCM/PCM/TECM\); ELECTRICAL SYSTEM; POWER TRAIN:AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION:CONTROL MODULE \(TCM/PCM/TECM\). Some 2023 F\-Super Duty vehicles equipped with a 6.7L engine may exhibit an illuminated malfunction indicator lamp \(MIL\) with diagnostic trouble code \(DTC\) P20A5 stored in the powertrain control module \(PCM\). This may be due to the software in the glow dosing module \(GDM\) and does not affect vehicle operation. Due to on\-board diagnostic \(OBD\) functionality, the GDM may be referred to as the secondary OBD control module \(SOBDMC\) in the Ford Diagnosis and Repair System \(FDRS\) scan tool.
- [SSM 52345](/bulletins/10251956.md), 2024-03-20, Service bulletin: ELECTRICAL SYSTEM:SOFTWARE. Some 2022\-2024 various Ford/Lincoln vehicles equipped with SYNC 4 may experience concern where customers are receiving an error message when trying to enroll in connected services. This may be due to the gateway module \(GWM\) software. To correct the concern, download and run the Transport and Factory Mode Deactivation app: under HS1 modules select BCM \> Transport and Factory Mode \> Download \> Run. When the pop\-up message appears for Change Vehicle Mode \- Transport/Factory/Normal Mode, press OK. This will proceed to the Transport and Factory Mode Deactivation screen, select Unlock Vehicle Connectivity Settings \(21 MY \+ Vehicles\). A pop\-up message appears noting Vehicle Is Now In Normal Mode, select OK. This will return to the Transport and Factory Mode Deactivation screen, select Exit. A final pop\-up notification stating that the application is finished, select OK. For claiming, use causal part 14G490 and applicable labor operations in Section 10 of the Service Labor Time Standards \(SLTS\) Manual.
- [SSM 52299](/bulletins/10250850.md), 2024-03-05, Service bulletin: ELECTRICAL SYSTEM; POWER TRAIN; POWER TRAIN:AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION:CONTROL MODULE \(TCM/PCM/TECM\). Some 2023\-2024 F\-Super Duty vehicles equipped with a 6.7L engine may exhibit an illuminated malfunction indicator lamp \(MIL\) with diagnostic trouble codes \(DTC\) U02A2, P206B, P203B, P208A, P20FA, P20FD, and/or P20FC stored in the powertrain control module \(PCM\). Before performing normal diagnostics, inspect connectors C1273C \(32 pin\) and C406 \(14 pin\) for proper connection. Also disconnect and inspect C1415 \(32 pin\), C406 \(14 pin\), C4863 \(7 pin\) and C4864 \(5 pin\) on the 14405 vehicle harness for signs of terminal push out, water intrusion and/or corrosion. Refer to the Wiring Diagram for connector locations. Repair as necessary. Refer to Wiring Diagram Cell 005 for repair procedures.
- [SANVol 2 Issue 1](/bulletins/10249790.md), 2024-02-06, Service bulletin: POWER TRAIN:AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION:CONTROL MODULE \(TCM/PCM/TECM\); POWER TRAIN; ELECTRICAL SYSTEM.
