# Service bulletin B610924

A bulletin is a manufacturer's communication to its dealers, as NHTSA indexes it. The summary is NHTSA's. The document is the manufacturer's: read it at NHTSA. A bulletin is not a recall, and listing a model year does not mean every vehicle of it is concerned.

- Type: Service bulletin
- NHTSA id: 10252020
- Published by NHTSA: 2024\-04\-01

## NHTSA's summary

The inverter or \(EGS\-EME\) Electrical Machine Electronics Transmission Control supply line may be damaged due to improper routing. This can cause Check Control Message \(CCM\) warnings, or in some instances the vehicle may slowly coast to a stop during purely electric driving.

Undercertain operating conditions, the software may detect a short\-circuit in the valve control system even thoughthere is no fault. When the above\-mentioned fault occurs, the red Check Control warning light ‘Drive system fault’ illuminates. This can result in the intake valves closing gradually, which may lead to misfires while the engine is running.
