## NHTSA's summary

Some 2020\-2022 Corsair vehicles equipped with a head\-up display \(HUD\) may exhibit a condition the display does not allow the projection height to be adjusted properly. Ford is aware of the concern and this condition does not affect vehicle durability and no additional diagnosis or service is required for this condition at this time. Inform customers that they can continue to drive the vehicle and engineering is currently working on a software solution for this condition that is expected by the end of April 2024. Replacement/reprogramming of the HUD will not resolve this condition. Monitor OASIS for additional information and schedule a service appointments for customers once the repair becomes available.

## Other bulletins for the same vehicles and component

- [SSM 55221](/bulletins/11038438.md), 2026-10-12, Service bulletin: UNKNOWN OR OTHER; POWER TRAIN; ELECTRICAL SYSTEM. For 20222026 vehicles equipped with a 8F35 transmission, a revision to the Road Testing Vehicle procedure has been made in the WSM, Section 307\-01 \> Diagnosis and Testing. This updated procedure improves the diagnosis of customer reported transmission concerns and aids in locating the proper root cause. During diagnosis and testing, details regarding whether the condition is more prevalent when the vehicle is hot or cold, throttle percentage at the time of occurrence, vehicle speed, the specific shift involved, and whether the issue occurs during transmission engagements \(N\>R, N\>D, R\>D, and/or D\>R\) should be noted in the warranty claim. Engineering requests including these detailed operating conditions that will significantly assist with root cause analysis. Diagnosis, testing, and repair should use established labor times outside this article.
- [TSB 26\-2325](/bulletins/11037978.md), 2026-10-05, Service bulletin: EXTERIOR LIGHTING; ELECTRICAL SYSTEM; UNKNOWN OR OTHER. Some of the vehicles listed in the Model statement above may exhibit a front courtesy lamp that is inoperative. This may be due to a concern with the front courtesy lamp light module.
- [26N15](/bulletins/11036550.md), 2026-09-01, Other: UNKNOWN OR OTHER; ELECTRICAL SYSTEM. Customer Satisfaction Program 26N15 Certain 2020\-2026 Model Year Escape and 2021\-2026 Model Year Corsair Plug\-in Hybrid Electric Vehicles \(PHEV\) – High Voltage Battery Replacement
- [SSM 54720](/bulletins/11031263.md), 2026-04-10, Service bulletin: ELECTRICAL SYSTEM; LANE DEPARTURE: BLIND SPOT DETECTION. Various 2020\-2026 Ford and Lincoln vehicles equipped with blind spot information system \(BLIS\) may experience an inoperative blind spot monitoring with a "Blind Spot System Fault" message displayed in the instrument panel cluster \(IPC\). This may also be accompanied by diagnostic trouble codes \(DTCs\) B118C:11 and/or B118C:15 stored in the driver door module \(DDM\), and/or B118D:11 and/or B118D:15 stored in the passenger door module \(PDM\). This may be due to the wiring connector from the mirror to the BLIS module. If diagnostics lead to an internal mirror wiring harness fault, a new lower level BLIS light pigtail is now released for service. It is not necessary to replace the exterior mirror assembly. Use part number SC3Z\-14A411\-B to resolve the concern.
- [24L10 S1](/bulletins/11030900.md), 2026-04-07, Other: ELECTRICAL SYSTEM; UNKNOWN OR OTHER. Certain 2021\-2025 Model Year Corsair Vehicles\- Flat Tow Rating Change On the affected vehicles, documentation in the owner’s manual incorrectly states that 2021 – 2025 Corsair PHEV \(Plug\-in Hybrid Electric Vehicles\) can be recreationally flat towed. You cannot recreationally flat tow these vehicles with all wheels on the ground because damage to the powertrain may occur. All 2023\-2025 model year vehicles will require dealers to perform a software update to the Accessory Protocol Interface Module \(APIM\) to install an updated digital owner’s manual. This action may require updates to other modules on the vehicle to receive the correct software.
- [25N17](/bulletins/11030282.md), 2026-03-27, Other: LANE DEPARTURE: BLIND SPOT DETECTION; BACK OVER PREVENTION: WARNINGS; BACK OVER PREVENTION: REARVIEW SYSTEM BRAKING; UNKNOWN OR OTHER. Advance Notice – Customer Satisfaction Program 25N17 Certain 2015\-2025 Model Year Multiple Vehicle Lines Rear View Camera Replacement If Required After Dealer Evaluation
- [SSM 54589](/bulletins/11029595.md), 2026-03-04, Other: ELECTRICAL SYSTEM. Some 2019\-2024 Ford and Lincoln vehicles equipped with SYNC3 may experience various connectivity concerns with The Ford App Lincoln App including but not limited to: missing activation prompt pop\-upon the vehicle's center display screen when attempting to activate vehicle through The Ford App Lincoln App, incorrect location global positioning system GPS reported through The Ford App Lincoln App, problems with remote commands being performed through The Ford App Lincoln App and or incorrect data information reported on The Ford App Lincoln App. These symptoms will be accompanied by diagnostic trouble code DTC B156D 89 in the TCU. This may be due to the accessory protocol interface module APIM software. To correct the condition, update the APIM software.
- [SSM 54615](/bulletins/11029540.md), 2026-03-04, Service bulletin: FUEL/PROPULSION SYSTEM; ELECTRICAL SYSTEM; POWER TRAIN. Some 2020\-2026 Escape and 2021\-2026 Corsair vehicles equipped with a 2.5L engine may exhibit a fuel door that won't open with diagnostic trouble code \(DTC\) P04CA stored in the powertrain control module \(PCM\). This may be due to an open circuit on circuit SBB05 and/or a damaged splice S133. Before performing the pinpoint test for P04CA in Workshop Manual \(WSM\), Section 310\-00, inspect circuit SBB05 and splice S133 for damage such as an open circuit. Repair as necessary. Refer to Wiring Diagram, Cell 005. If no damage is found, refer to WSM, Section 310\-00 for normal diagnostics. For claiming use causal 14290 and labor operations 12650D, 12650D45, and 12650D45WR.
- [SSM 54555](/bulletins/11028797.md), 2026-02-12, Service bulletin: UNKNOWN OR OTHER; STRUCTURE:BODY; ELECTRICAL SYSTEM.
