Service bulletin N871 UPS1024-1

A bulletin is a manufacturer's communication to its dealers, as NHTSA indexes it. The summary is NHTSA's. The document is the manufacturer's: read it at NHTSA. A bulletin is not a recall, and listing a model year does not mean every vehicle of it is concerned.

NHTSA's summary

On a certain number of 2024 model year 7 Seat and Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicle (PHEV) Discovery Sport vehicles, some bodyshells have been made where the righthand side lower A-Pillar bolt may not have been fastened to the specified torque. In this state it is possible that the body structure may not perform, in certain crash modes, as intended.
