# Service bulletin SA\-011\-24

A bulletin is a manufacturer's communication to its dealers, as NHTSA indexes it. The summary is NHTSA's. The document is the manufacturer's: read it at NHTSA. A bulletin is not a recall, and listing a model year does not mean every vehicle of it is concerned.

- Type: Service bulletin
- NHTSA id: 10251387
- Published by NHTSA: 2024\-03\-06
- Manufacturer's number: SA\-011\-24
- Manufacturer's date: 2024\-02\-12
- NHTSA component: STEERING; SERVICE BRAKES, HYDRAULIC; WHEELS; TIRES; ENGINE AND ENGINE COOLING; POWER TRAIN

## NHTSA's summary

Mazda has developed factory recommended scheduled maintenance services that support all major vehicle systems. Mazda recommends dealers follow the scheduled maintenance tables as cited in the vehicle\-specific workshop manual or owner's manual. Services performed outside of Mazda's factory scheduled maintenance are not recommended. These services are unnecessary and create unneeded expenses for your customers.

- [CSP14\_CSP15 Dlr FAQs b](/bulletins/11037894.md), 2026-10-03, Warranty extension: SERVICE BRAKES. CSP14 – 2024\-2026 CX\-90 Subject: Mazda Rear Brake Pad Customer Service Program Limited Warranty Extension – \(CSP14 – CX\-90 models\) \- Phase 1 Mailing – May 2026 In late April we announced two Customer Service Programs \(CSP14 \& CSP15\) where certain vehicles are covered under these two Limited Warranty Extensions, \(defined as “Covered Vehicle”\); 2024\-2026 CX\-90 \(CSP14\) and 2025\-2026 CX\-70 \(CSP15\) produced November 18, 2025 and prior. Owner Notification: We are pleased to announce the first phase of Owner Letters will mail on May 29, 2026, to approximately 18,000 owners in campaign CSP14. As stated in our prior communication, we will send subsequent dealer emails with future phased mailings planned throughout Summer 2026. We have also released the Repair Procedure under TSB 04\-003/26, the Parts \& Warranty information and updated all dealer\-facing FAQ documents. ATTENTION ALL DEALERS \- Vehicles to be repaired: Due to limited parts supply only the vehicles in this notice can be repaired. To help your Mazda dealer staff identify which vehicles can be repaired we have created an Excel\-based VIN look\-up tool in Mazda Global Service Support \(MGSS\) under this campaign. Please enter the VIN in the tool if the customer does not have their parts available letter to confirm the vehicle can be repaired under this CSP. At this time, remaining customers in CSP14 and CSP15 must wait to receive notice that parts are available. Key Benefits of the Customer Service Program\-Extended Warranty Coverage for Rear Brake Squeal: Mazda is expanding the standard brake pad coverage from 1\-year/12,000 miles to 3\-years/36,000 miles to cover repairs related to rear brake squeal. The owner is eligible for a one‑time replacement of redesigned rear brake pads at no cost if the brake squeal symptom matches a Technical Service Bulletin \(TSB\) which will be published prior to sending the Second notification. The redesigned brake pads will be covered under the vehicle’s original 3\-year/36,000\-mile warranty, or 1 year/12,000 miles from installation whichever provides longer coverage.

- [SA\-061\-26](/bulletins/11037637.md), 2026-10-01, Service bulletin: ENGINE; POWER TRAIN. DESCRIPTION Use this guide before ordering or replacing an AT component on applicable H3T vehicles. QUICK CHECKLIST BEFORE ORDERING Confirm the vehicle is a CX\-90 \(KK\) or CX\-70 \(KJ\) with H3T and is within the applicable market coverage. • In GEPC, identify the AT component part number for the vehicle. • Use the GEPC lookup tables below to determine whether the vehicle requires Table A or Table B parts. • Order the complete set of parts listed in the applicable table. DO NOT order the AT component by itself. • Check whether water hose removal is required for that GEPC part number. • Follow the applicable WSM repair procedure for AT component removal/installation, water hose removal, and oil hose/oil pipe installation in MGSS. • IMPORTANT: If only the AT component is ordered, required replacement parts will be missing, and the repair cannot be completed.
- [SA\-059\-26](/bulletins/11037635.md), 2026-10-01, Service bulletin: ENGINE. This Service Alert supersedes the previously issued SA\(s\) listed below. The changes are noted in Red. SA\-029/24 05/09/24 DESCRIPTION The CX\-90 and CX\-70 PHEV are equipped with two electric water pumps that look similar but have different part numbers. CAUTION: If the wrong water pump is ordered or they are reversed, DTC U019F could be set.
- [PF\-26\-04](/bulletins/11037630.md), 2026-10-01, Other: ENGINE; POWER TRAIN. SUBJECT: ORDERING REQUIREMENT FOR AT COMPONENTS FOR H3T \(INLINE 6\) Use this guide before ordering or replacing an AT component on applicable H3T vehicles. - [09\-027\-26](/bulletins/11037628.md), 2026-10-01, Service bulletin: ENGINE; ELECTRICAL SYSTEM. DESCRIPTION Some CX\-70 and CX\-90 PHEV vehicles may fail to start \(enter READY mode\) in cold weather, but the vehicle can often be started successfully on the next attempt. This may occur when leakage current between connector terminals causes the MAIN Relay to be falsely detected as ON. As a result, the Battery ECU may incorrectly determine the relay status, preventing READY mode activation and resulting in a no\-start condition. One or more of the following DTCs may be stored: P0AB9, U0100, U0110, and U0115 and multiple warning lights may also turn on. This is caused by corrosion of the connector terminals on the 3002\-411 connector in the luggage compartment from water. To eliminate this concern, urethane has been added around the connector to help prevent water from reaching the connector terminals. REPAIR PROCEDURE 1. Verify the customer concern. 2. Diagnose and repair the vehicle according to the following steps. NOTE: The following procedure uses a heat shrink tube with solder. \(1\) Connect wire to wire with heat shrink tube. \(2\) Form a loop at the end of wire to create a passage for the other wire.
