## NHTSA's summary

A knocking noise can be heard from the area of the steering gear or steering column tube, and a "cracking" sensation can also be felt at the steering wheel. Particularly when braking or accelerating Stick/slip effect in sliding piece of steering coupling. Replace steering coupling.
