# Service bulletin B360121

A bulletin is a manufacturer's communication to its dealers, as NHTSA indexes it. The summary is NHTSA's. The document is the manufacturer's: read it at NHTSA. A bulletin is not a recall, and listing a model year does not mean every vehicle of it is concerned.

- Type: Service bulletin
- NHTSA id: 10249018
- Published by NHTSA: 2024\-02\-01
- Manufacturer's number: B360121
- Manufacturer's date: 2024\-01\-08

## NHTSA's summary

At low outside temperatures \(below 40 degrees F\) and slow driving speeds \(i.e. when parking, maneuvering\)with a large steering angle, the front end can be slightly axially misaligned. This can be felt \(jerking\)/ heard via an acoustic acknowledgement \(clunk\) as seen at the 11 second mark of the video. See attached video V36 01 21.

This minimally noticeable increase in steering forces is perceived as a slight, brief resistance. After overcoming this brief resistance when steering out of the steering wheel center position, no permanent increase in steering forces is noticeable.
- [B320225](/bulletins/11018513.md), 2025-05-21, Service campaign: STEERING. Parts of the steering shaft universal joint may have been joined together without having beengreased. As a result, there can be audible squeaking and cracking noises. In some cases, moresteering force is required.
