# Service bulletin 9100265

A bulletin is a manufacturer's communication to its dealers, as NHTSA indexes it. The summary is NHTSA's. The document is the manufacturer's: read it at NHTSA. A bulletin is not a recall, and listing a model year does not mean every vehicle of it is concerned.

- Type: Service bulletin
- NHTSA id: 10248845
- Published by NHTSA: 2024\-01\-16
- Manufacturer's number: 9100265

## NHTSA's summary

Hydraulic tensioner Before replacing any Front End Accessory Drive components, please check Accessory Drive belt routing as per engine sales code. Customer complaints may include a noise coming from under de hood described as a squeal, screech, squeak, chirp or "belt related" noise and/or noisy tensioner/pulley. Please check Service Library for any STAR Online publications that may apply. Note: If it is found that the pulleys and/or tensioners are to blame for the noise please use an stethoscope or similar tool to determine the origin of the noise and include it in the narrative.
