# Service bulletin TSB 23\-2399

A bulletin is a manufacturer's communication to its dealers, as NHTSA indexes it. The summary is NHTSA's. The document is the manufacturer's: read it at NHTSA. A bulletin is not a recall, and listing a model year does not mean every vehicle of it is concerned.

- Type: Service bulletin
- NHTSA id: 10248358
- Published by NHTSA: 2024\-01\-05
- Manufacturer's number: TSB 23\-2399
- Manufacturer's date: 2023\-12\-05
- NHTSA component: ELECTRICAL SYSTEM; POWER TRAIN:AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION:CONTROL MODULE \(TCM/PCM/TECM\)

## NHTSA's summary

Some 2021\-2023 Mustang Mach\-E vehicles may exhibit a condition where the high voltage battery stops charging when connected to level 1 or level 2 chargers with an illuminated malfunction indicator lamp \(MIL\) and diagnostic trouble code \(DTC\) P2C94 stored in the secondary on\-board diagnostic control module A \(SOBDM\). This may be due to the software in the SOBDM. To correct this condition, follow the Service Procedure to reprogram the powertrain control module \(PCM\).

Some 2021\-2022 Mustang Mach\-E vehicles equipped with all\-wheel drive \(AWD\) may exhibit a whine noise from the front drive unit when driving steady speed between 30\-40 mph \(48\-64 km/h\) without diagnostic trouble codes \(DTCs\) present. This may be due to software parameters. To correct the condition, follow the Service Procedure to reprogram the powertrain control module \(PCM\)
