# Service bulletin SSM 52116

A bulletin is a manufacturer's communication to its dealers, as NHTSA indexes it. The summary is NHTSA's. The document is the manufacturer's: read it at NHTSA. A bulletin is not a recall, and listing a model year does not mean every vehicle of it is concerned.

## NHTSA's summary

Some 2024 Nautilus vehicles may set diagnostic trouble code \(DTC\) B146F:00 in the drivers multi\-contour seat module \(SCMG\) and/or passenger multi\-contour seat module \(SCMH\) when a diagnostic self\-test is performed. This may be due to a communication error to the SCMG/SCMH within a specified timeframe. Replacement or reprogramming of the SCMG/SCMH will not resolve this condition. B146F:00 should be ignored and no further service action is required if no other DTCs are present in the SCMG/SCMH, no warning indicators are illuminated while the engine is running, and no symptoms present.

- [SSM 54757](/bulletins/11031410.md), 2026-04-21, Service bulletin: SEATS. Some 2024\-2026 Nautilus vehicles may require replacement of the front seat track motor for various reasons. If Workshop Manual \(WSM\), Section 501\-10A \> Front Seats \> PPT A leads to front seat track motor replacement, a lower level service part is now available \- PU5Z\-14547\-A \(driver side\) and PU5Z\-14547\-B \(passenger side\). If only the front seat track motor requires replacement, it is not necessary to replace the front seat cushion structure assembly.

Some 2024\-2026 Nautilus vehicles built on or before 06\-Nov\-2025 may exhibit an inoperative driver heated seat with diagnostic trouble code \(DTC\) B1208:2A stored in the driver seat module \(DSM\) and/or inoperative front passenger heated seat with DTC B120A:2A in the passenger front seat module \(SCMB\).
- [SSM 54647](/bulletins/11030105.md), 2026-03-18, Service bulletin: SEATS. Some 20242026 Nautilus vehicles built on or before 06\-Nov\-2025 may exhibit an inoperative driver and/or front passenger heated seat with diagnostic trouble code \(DTC\) B1208:2A stored in the driver seat module \(DSM\) and/or DTC B120A:2A in the passenger front seat module \(SCMB\). Inform the customer that Ford is currently working on a solution for this condition that is expected Q2 2026. Monitor Professional Technician System \(PTS\) for additional information and schedule a service appointment for the customer once the repair becomes available. If a customer vehicle exhibits this concern, submit a Vehicle Concern Report. To submit a report, click on the "Submit Global Concern Report \(GCR\)" link at the upper right of the PTS Vehicle ID screen \(vehicle identification number ÝVIN¨ required\) and fill out the form. Do not use the "Report A Problem" link to submit a report for this condition.
- [SSM 54339](/bulletins/11024901.md), 2025-11-04, Service bulletin: SEATS. For 2024\-2025 Nautilus vehicles, if diagnostics lead to the replacement of the front seat cushion extension adjuster, a lower level part is now available \(R2TZ\-14C724\-A\). It is not necessary to replace the front seat cushion extension adjuster if only the front seat cushion extension motor assembly is damaged.
- [SSM 53854](/bulletins/11018767.md), 2025-06-02, Service bulletin: SEATS. Some 2024\-2025 Nautilus vehicles may exhibit a driver seat module \(DSM\) programmable module installation \(PMI\) failure with an error stating "Procedure Unsuccessful\-FlashSoftware Failed to flash RU5T\-14C030\-AE" after replacement.
- [SSM 52463](/bulletins/10254129.md), 2024-05-03, Service bulletin: EQUIPMENT. On 2024 Nautilus vehicles, the heated steering wheel temperature may vary in areas of the steering wheel where the horizontal spokes join the rim. Customers may express concern that these areas are not heating as fully as the top and bottom steering wheel rim sections. This may be due to the layout of heating wires inside the steering wheel. Do not attempt repairs or submit a claim for this normal operating characteristic
- [OTA SU9 P2 Naut](/bulletins/10252709.md), 2024-04-04, Service bulletin: EQUIPMENT; ELECTRICAL SYSTEM. Software Update 24\-OTA SU9 P2 for 2024 MY Naultilus vehicles is now available. Quality Improvements include: \- Removes error case of persistent nuisance chimes. \- Improved connectivity \- Audio management stability \- Alerts time out as intended \- Wireless Charging indicator on first surface \- Phone charging via USB over ignition cycles \- Remedy software for 24B09\- Phoenix controller quality issues
- [SSM 52402](/bulletins/10252651.md), 2024-04-04, Service bulletin: EQUIPMENT; ELECTRICAL SYSTEM:IGNITION:ANTI\-THEFT:IMMOBILIZER/PROXIMITY:KEY/SENDER. On 2024 Nautilus vehicles, the keyless entry keypad will only illuminate if the unlock button on the keyfob is pressed or if the keypad itself is touched. The keypad will not illuminate during approach detection or from any other inputs. Do not attempt repairs or submit a claim for this normal condition.
- [SSM 52393](/bulletins/10252649.md), 2024-04-04, Service bulletin: EQUIPMENT. Some 2024 Nautilus vehicles may exhibit difficulty removing shipping door protectors or white RapGard during predelivery. This may be attributed to varied environmental conditions during transit from the assembly plant to the dealerships. If possible, bring the vehicle into the shop to warm up and stabilize to a room temperature closer to 20°C \(68°F\) or higher prior to removing the plastic coverings. Running the engine may help in warming the hood wrapping adhesive for easier removal. Also, reuse the white RapGard that was removed from the car to dab/remove any adhesive residue left behind. For general guidelines, refer to the Warranty and Policy Manual, Section 2.9.00 Storage of New Vehicles.
- [SSM 52381](/bulletins/10252642.md), 2024-04-04, Service bulletin: EQUIPMENT:ELECTRICAL:INFOTAINMENT; EQUIPMENT:ELECTRICAL:INFOTAINMENT:SOFTWARE. Some 2024 Nautilus vehicles may have a clock that is inaccurate and/or weather information may not be able to update along with the inability to sign\-in to Google Automotive Services to update or edit a profile. During this time the Google Map may also not display in the panoramic display screen next to the speedometer. This may be due to a concern with the telematics control unit \(TCU\) module software. Inform customers that they can continue to drive the vehicle and that engineering is currently working on revised TCU module software for this concern. Monitor OASIS for additional information and schedule service appointments for customers once the repair becomes available. Note that it is normal for the Google Map to not appear in the panoramic display when in calm mode or when using the Waze app.
