Some 2022\-2024 various Ford/Lincoln vehicles equipped with SYNC 4 may experience concern where customers are receiving an error message when trying to enroll in connected services. This may be due to the gateway module \(GWM\) software. To correct the concern, download and run the Transport and Factory Mode Deactivation app: under HS1 modules select BCM \> Transport and Factory Mode \> Download \> Run. When the pop\-up message appears for Change Vehicle Mode \- Transport/Factory/Normal Mode, press OK. This will proceed to the Transport and Factory Mode Deactivation screen, select Unlock Vehicle Connectivity Settings \(21 MY \+ Vehicles\). A pop\-up message appears noting Vehicle Is Now In Normal Mode, select OK. This will return to the Transport and Factory Mode Deactivation screen, select Exit. A final pop\-up notification stating that the application is finished, select OK. For claiming, use causal part 14G490 and applicable labor operations in Section 10 of the Service Labor Time Standards \(SLTS\) Manual.

- [SSM 52076](/bulletins/10245389.md), 2023-11-21, Service bulletin: ELECTRICAL SYSTEM:SOFTWARE; POWER TRAIN:TRANSFER CASE \(4\-WHEEL DRIVE\). Some 2019\-2021 Edge/Nautilus vehicles equipped with all wheel drive \(AWD\) may exhibit a noise from the rear of the vehicle while approaching the vehicle or prior to starting engine. This may be due to the rear drive unit \(RDU\) actuator learning process. Reprogram the software in the AWD module to minimize the noise using the latest software level of the appropriate Ford diagnostic scan tool. If no other concerns or symptoms are present, further diagnosis or repairs are not recommended. For claiming, use causal part 4000 and applicable labor operations in Section 10 of the Service Labor Time Standards \(SLTS\) Manual.
- [TSB 23\-2315](/bulletins/10244716.md), 2023-11-02, Service bulletin: ELECTRICAL SYSTEM:SOFTWARE; POWER TRAIN:AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION:CONTROL MODULE \(TCM/PCM/TECM\). Some 2023 Maverick vehicles built on or before 11\-Apr\-2023 and equipped with a 2.5L full hybrid electric vehicle \(FHEV\) powertrain may exhibit an illuminated malfunction indicator lamp \(MIL\) with diagnostic trouble code \(DTC\) P2282. This may be due to the software in the powertrain control module \(PCM\). To correct this condition, follow the Service Procedure to reprogram various modules starting with the PCM.
- [TSB 23\-2261](/bulletins/10241543.md), 2023-09-01, Service bulletin: ELECTRICAL SYSTEM:SOFTWARE. This article supersedes TSB 23\-2168 to update the vehicle line affected. Some 2021\-2022 Mustang Mach\-E \(non\-GT\) vehicles equipped with all\-wheel drive \(AWD\) may exhibit a whine noise from the front drive unit when driving steady at speeds between 30\-40 mph \(48\-64 km/h\) without diagnostic trouble codes \(DTCs\) present. This may be due to software parameters. To correct the condition, follow the Service Procedure to reprogram the powertrain control module \(PCM\).
- [SSM 51788](/bulletins/10239479.md), 2023-07-20, Service bulletin: STRUCTURE:BODY:DOOR; ELECTRICAL SYSTEM:SOFTWARE. Some 2020\-2023 Aviator vehicles built on or before 12\-Oct\-2022 may exhibit a door ajar or door fault warning message present in the message center with diagnostic trouble codes \(DTCs\) B1175:19, B1176:19, B11C0:19 and/or B11C1:19 present in door latch control module E \(DCME\), door latch control module F \(DCMF\), door latch control module G \(DCMG\) and/or door latch control module H \(DCMH\). This may be due to low battery voltage and DTC thresholds being too low and not a fault in the door latch assembly. To correct the condition, reprogram and re\-configure the the affected module using the latest level of the Ford Diagnosis and Repair System \(FDRS\). For claiming use causal part 54264A27 and applicable labor times found in Section 10 of the Service Labor Time Standards \(SLTS\) Manual.
