NHTSA's summary
Altec Industries, Inc. has received notification from Ford Motor Company that a condition exists relating to motor vehicle safety, compliance, or emissions in a vehicle that is equipped with Altec equipment. Certain 2024 and 2025 model year E-Series and F-650/F-750 Super Duty vehicles equipped with 6R140 (Torqushift 6) automatic transmission could have a casting defect in the transmission upper valve body casting, which may cause the main control poppet valve to get stuck in the open position.
