CUSTOMER SATISFACTION CAMPAIGN: OWNER NOTIFICATION - This document is the owner notification advising that Kia is now making steering wheel lock devices available directly to certain Kia vehicle owners. These devices can help deter a theft attempt. We are making this device available to customers free of charge and will ship it directly to customers who place orders within eighteen (18) months from the date of this letter.

TSB: SERVICE ACTION: A/C REFRIGERANT OVERFILL (SA372) - This bulletin provides the procedure to recover and recharge the air conditioning system on certain 2019MY Niro Hybrid (DE HEV) and Niro Plug-in Hybrid (DE PHEV) vehicles, produced from July 9, 2018 through December 21, 2018, which may experience poor air conditioning performance due to a possible overfill of refrigerant. Follow the procedure in this bulletin to recover and recharge the air conditioning system with the proper amount. Kia is requesting the completion of this Service Action on all affected vehicles including dealer stock, prior to delivery.

The California Air Resources Board (CARB) requires the emissions data from vehicles with a minimum of 3,000 accumulated miles without reprogramming or resetting.

PITSTOP - TPMS LAMP ON, TRUNK OPEN LAMP ON, AND/OR AUDIO SYSTEM INOPERATIVE - This Pitstop provides information regarding an inoperative Audio system, TPMS lamp ON, Trunk Open warning lamp ON (even while the trunk is closed), and/or Master Warning Mode lamp ON in the instrument cluster. This condition may be caused by the Transportation Fuse not being fully seated.
