## NHTSA's summary

The vehicle's Check Engine Malfunction Indicator Lamp \(MIL\) may illuminate with DTC P2201 set in the DEF Control Unit \(DCU\). If the preceding DTC is present, first follow the diagnostic for the DTC in question. If no mechanical fault can be found during normal diagnosis, follow the service procedure in this bulletin to correct the concern.
