Service bulletin NTB23-041

A bulletin is a manufacturer's communication to its dealers, as NHTSA indexes it. The summary is NHTSA's. The document is the manufacturer's: read it at NHTSA. A bulletin is not a recall, and listing a model year does not mean every vehicle of it is concerned.

SERVICE PROCEDURE 1. Prepare the vehicle. a. Thoroughly rinse the vehicle, preferably in a shady area, to remove all surface dirt and/or dust. o If the vehicle is extremely dirty, wash the vehicle with soap and water consistent with Nissan car wash procedures. b. Ensure the painted surfaces are dry, cool to the touch, and completely free of dust and water spots, before moving to step 2 on page 2. IMPORTANT: If necessary, use a clay bar on surfaces with contamination to remove hard contaminants and prevent scratching those surfaces while buffing.
