The DTC detection level is too sensitive. The form of the female terminals in the side air bag module connector may cause insufficient contact and higher resistance. To eliminate these concerns, (1) the DTC detection level of the SAS control module has been optimized, (2) the design of the side air bag module connector has been modified, and (3) the layout of the side air bag module connector has been modified.
08-004-23	2023-07-05. Service bulletin. Some vehicles with the two-step deployment control air bag module may exhibit a clicking sound when turning the steering wheel. This is caused by the horn spring (1) of the airbag module interfering with the black color tape (2) of the clock spring harness (3), resulting in a stick-slip noise (click on attached sound file below).
eFC-1-21-00443a	2023-04-04. Service bulletin. A Technical Service Bulletin (TSB 08-001 /22 - AIR BAG WARNING LIGHT ON WITH OTC B1126: 13 OR B1127:13) has been released to repair 2019-2022 Mazda3 with OTC B1126:13/B1127:13. Follow the TSB to repair the vehicle before replacing the airbag module. MC is working on a separate TSB for 2020-2022 CX-30.
