# Service bulletin 05\-001\-23

A bulletin is a manufacturer's communication to its dealers, as NHTSA indexes it. The summary is NHTSA's. The document is the manufacturer's: read it at NHTSA. A bulletin is not a recall, and listing a model year does not mean every vehicle of it is concerned.

- Type: Service bulletin
- NHTSA id: 10237198
- Published by NHTSA: 2023\-06\-04
- Manufacturer's number: 05\-001\-23
- Manufacturer's date: 2023\-05\-03
- NHTSA component: POWER TRAIN:AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION:CONTROL MODULE \(TCM/PCM/TECM\); POWER TRAIN

## NHTSA's summary

Some customers may experience a shock during driving at low speeds when starting from a stop with the accelerator pedal depressed slightly. This may be caused by improper control software of the TCM causing improper lock up operation. To eliminate this concern, the control software of the TCM has been modified.
