NHTSA's summary
Mercedes-Benz AG (“MBAG”), the manufacturer of Mercedes-Benz vehicles, has determined that on certain MY 2022 GLA (247 platform) vehicles, a crack in the sheet metal may have formed on the A-pillar in the vicinity of the wheel arch. As a result, corrosion may develop on the left longitudinal member due to potential water ingress. What We’re Doing MBUSA will conduct a service campaign. An authorized Mercedes-Benz dealer will inspect the affected vehicles and rework if necessary.
