## NHTSA's summary

Some 2020\-2022 F\-Super Duty vehicles may exhibit a condition where the vehicle will not shift out of park \(P\). Diagnostic trouble codes \(DTC\) C0040 and/or P0504 may also be present. Reference TSB 22\-2044 to make sure that no water or corrosion is present in the battery junction box \(BJB\). If Pinpoint Test A: Brake Shift Interlock in Workshop Manual \(WSM\), Section 307\-05 leads to a concern with circuit SBP07 \(white/red\), remove the left side scuff plate from the floor and inspect circuit SBP07 for any damage. If damage is present, repair as necessary. Refer to Wiring Diagram, Cell 005. Submit a Report a Vehicle Concern form at the bottom of the OASIS screen and attach any available pictures to assist with the engineering investigation.
