# Service bulletin TSB 22\-2392

A bulletin is a manufacturer's communication to its dealers, as NHTSA indexes it. The summary is NHTSA's. The document is the manufacturer's: read it at NHTSA. A bulletin is not a recall, and listing a model year does not mean every vehicle of it is concerned.

- Type: Service bulletin
- NHTSA id: 10233576
- Published by NHTSA: 2023\-04\-04
- Manufacturer's number: TSB 22\-2392
- Manufacturer's date: 2023\-03\-02
- NHTSA component: ELECTRICAL SYSTEM: INSTRUMENT CLUSTER/PANEL

## NHTSA's summary

Some 2021\-2022 Bronco vehicles may exhibit a charging system fault message displayed in the instrument panel cluster \(IPC\) after water fording in muddy water. This may be the result of mud accumulation inside the generator causing it to fail. To resolve the concern, follow the Service Procedure to replace the generator and install a revised generator shield onto the vehicle.

- [TSB 23\-2400](/bulletins/10248359.md), 2024-01-05, Service bulletin: ELECTRICAL SYSTEM: INSTRUMENT CLUSTER/PANEL; ELECTRICAL SYSTEM. This article supersedes TSB 23\-2086 to update the parts list. Some 2021\-2023 Bronco vehicles may encounter a Sta\-bar Disconnect Service Required message in the instrument panel cluster and an illuminated warning light with any of the following diagnostic trouble codes \(DTCs\) stored in the chassis control module \(CHCM\): C103A, C1A99, C1B03, C1B07, C1B14 and/or B1A67. To correct the condition, follow the Service Procedure to address water intrusion and reprogram the CHCM.
- [23H05](/bulletins/10244695.md), 2023-11-02, Service bulletin: ELECTRICAL SYSTEM:INSTRUMENT PANEL:SPEEDOMETER/ODOMETER:SENSOR/SENDING UNIT; UNKNOWN OR OTHER. Harvest Program 23H05 Certain 2022 Model Year Navigator and 2022\-2023 Model Year Mach\-E, F150 Lightning, F150, Expedition and Bronco \- Instrument Cluster Odometer Inspection
- [TSB 23\-2006](/bulletins/10230772.md), 2023-01-31, Service bulletin: ELECTRICAL SYSTEM: INSTRUMENT CLUSTER/PANEL. Some 2021\-2022 Bronco may encounter a sta\-bar disconnect service required message in the instrument panel cluster and a warning light illuminated with any of the following diagnostic trouble codes \(DTCs\) stored in the chassis control module \(CHCM\): C103A, C1A99, C1B03, C1B07, C1B14 and/or B1A67. To correct the condition, follow the Service Procedure to address water intrusion and reprogram the CHCM.
- [TSB 21\-2354](/bulletins/10202711.md), 2021-11-02, Service bulletin: ELECTRICAL SYSTEM: INSTRUMENT CLUSTER/PANEL; POWER TRAIN:AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION:CONTROL MODULE \(TCM/PCM/TECM\). Some 2021 Bronco vehicles built on or before 23\-Aug\-2021 may experience a charging system fault message displayed in the instrument panel cluster \(IPC\) and diagnostic trouble codes \(DTC\) U012D, U0284 and/or U0285 stored in the powertrain control module \(PCM\). This may be due to water intrusion in the active grille shutter connector. To correct this condition, follow the Service Procedure to inspect for water intrusion in the active grille shutter harness connector and repair as needed.
- [SSM 50210](/bulletins/10202643.md), 2021-10-29, Service bulletin: POWER TRAIN:DRIVELINE:DRIVESHAFT; ENGINE; ELECTRICAL SYSTEM: INSTRUMENT CLUSTER/PANEL. Some 2021 Bronco vehicles built on or before 14\-Sep\-2021 may experience a loss of power when driving with various illuminated warning indicators displayed in the instrument panel cluster \(IPC\). This may be due to an improper seating of the wiring harness push pins to the driveshaft loop which can cause an interference condition between the rear driveshaft and the 14405 harness near the C2370/C350 connector. If suspected, inspect the harness and connector for damage and repair as necessary. Once inspected and/or repaired fully, seat the harness push pins to the driveshaft loop.
