# Service bulletin 078114

A bulletin is a manufacturer's communication to its dealers, as NHTSA indexes it. The summary is NHTSA's. The document is the manufacturer's: read it at NHTSA. A bulletin is not a recall, and listing a model year does not mean every vehicle of it is concerned.

## Other bulletins for the same vehicles and component

- [12\-234\-18](/bulletins/10133522.md), 2018-04-16, Service bulletin: VISIBILITY:WINDSHIELD. This bulletin provides a repair procedure for replacing the foam cushion installed between the top front edge of the IP and the windshield glass. Use the supplied Service Procedure to address a customer concern involving the foam cushion becoming visible above the IP near the defroster vent outlets
- [12\-207\-16](/bulletins/10131639.md), 2018-04-02, Service bulletin: VISIBILITY:GLASS, SIDE/REAR. This bulletin announces a change to the procedure used in production of the rear door glass assembly. The bottom edge of the door glass is pressed into a metal channel lined with rubber. The channel attaches the door glass assembly to the window regulator. In below\-freezing temperature conditions, water freezing in the channel combined with the door glass sticking to the door weatherstrip can increase chance of the glass separating from the channel when attempting to operate \(lower\) the window. A lubricant has been added to the rubber portion to insure the glass gets fully seated during assembly which maximizes the clamping force of the channel on the glass.
