Complaint Squeaking noises from the front axle during braking, regardless of temperature. Cause Friction and vibration effects of pad seating in caliper. Remedy • Remove brake pads • Clean all contact points between the brake pad and the brake caliper • Apply copper paste A 001 989 87 51 to the contact points between the brake lining and the brake caliper guide \(see attachments associated to Remedy\) Important note: copper paste must not get on contact surfaces between the brake pad and the disc.
