## NHTSA's summary

This Technical Service Bulletin was issued for Communication Failure. Symptom is where one or more communication error may occur. The HMI320 screen remains at the startup display with the message "establishing communication." Fault code 1689 is reset Real Time Clock \(RTC\) is triggered. and FC2895 PCCNet device failed is triggered. The communications are associated with internal failures to the super capacitor C216 and C166. This leads to corrosion of the Power Command control board traces underneath the capacitor affecting functionality. If found faulty before date order replacement PCC.
