NHTSA's summary
Altec Industries, Inc. has received notification from Fiat Chrysler Automobiles that a condition exists relating to motor vehicle safety, compliance, or emissions in vehicles that are equipped with Altec equipment. Certain 2019 and 2020 model year (DP) Ram 4500/5500 Cab Chassis vehicles fail to conform to FMVSS No. 106 - Brake hoses. Altec is not able to perform this repair. The work must be completed by a Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, or Ram Dealer. A remedy is not currently available. Ram will send a second communication when a remedy is available.
