# Service bulletin 2102415

A bulletin is a manufacturer's communication to its dealers, as NHTSA indexes it. The summary is NHTSA's. The document is the manufacturer's: read it at NHTSA. A bulletin is not a recall, and listing a model year does not mean every vehicle of it is concerned.

## NHTSA's summary

Flash: Transmission Diagnostic And Shift Enhancements This bulletin involves reprogramming the Transmission Control Module \(TCM\) with the latest available software. A small number of customers may experience a Malfunction Indicator Lamp \(MIL\) illumination on vehicles equipped with a 948TE 9 speed automatic transmission \(sales code DFH or DFJ\). Upon further investigation, a technician may find Diagnostic Trouble Codes \(DTCs\) stored in the TCM memory. ? P0887 \- TCM Power Control Circuit High ? P0711 \- Transmission Fluid Temperature Sensor A Circuit Range\-Performance ? P1DAD \- Input Shaft\-Output Shaft Direction Correlation In addition to addressing the above DTCs, this TCM calibration update is being released to enable the new wiTECH based ?Transmission Quick Learn? procedure to be performed anytime the transmission adaptation memory cells are cleared or when addressing customer concerns of poor shift quality. It is also being released to improve transmission downshift response time during normal driving.

The customer may describe a squeak noise coming from the rear seat, typically when the seat is unoccupied. The noise may be caused by metal to metal contact of the rear seat track J\-rail.
- [0801615](/bulletins/10229204.md), 2023-01-09, Service bulletin: BACK OVER PREVENTION. Poor Radio Reception This bulletin involves replacing the satellite antenna if needed. A customer may experience, SXM \(Sirius/XM\) radio has intermittent muting. This occurs in areas where XM signal is degraded and cell signal is very weak. The condition happens when the optional vehicle internet connection through the cell network is in use with the internal vehicle Wi\-Fi. This Symptom/Condition Only Applies To 2014\-2015 KL Vehicles: A customer may experience a popping noise when listening to AM stations.
- [0500115](/bulletins/10229195.md), 2023-01-09, Service bulletin: BACK OVER PREVENTION. Rear Brake Squeal Noise In Reverse This bulletin involves replacing the rear brake pads. The customer may describe a squeal noise from the rear brakes. Noise is only present during the first few brake applies in reverse. Noise is most prevalent at low temperatures around \-12 to \-4 degrees C \(10 to 25 degrees F\) after an overnight cold soak and during low brake pedal apply pressure. Noise goes away after approximately 5 brake applies.
