## NHTSA's summary

Polaris has determined that 2020 Slingshot vehicles may exhibit increased oil consumption through the PCV system under certain driving conditions which can lead to a low oil level and premature wear to the engine. To resolve this concern, Polaris has developed a new PCV fitting with a decreased orifice size and increased the engine oil quantity from 5 to 6 quarts. The coverage period has been extended to December 31, 2023.
