On these vehicles, the automatic adjustment of the steering wheel and seats to the customer’s preferred positions may become disabled due to a system incompatibility with a recent software update. Under this condition customers may need to position their steering wheel and seat manually. If the automatic adjustment functionality is lost, the driver will receive a notification on the center display indicating that the automatic seat and steering adjustment features are not available. Rivian will re-enable the automatic adjustment functionality through a software recalibration. Rivian is launching this campaign for customer satisfaction and to ensure the quality of Rivian vehicles. |
