Flash: Powertrain Control Module \(PCM\) Updates This bulletin involves reprogramming the Powertrain Control Module \(PCM\) with thelatest available software. The customer may experience one or more of the following: Generic Scan Tool shows incorrect PCM Calibration Part Number and Emissions type:OBDI not OBDII\(North America Only\). Hesitation feel during a pedal tip in, while engine is warming up below \-1 °C \(30 °F\) ambient temp. During a 2 \- 3 transmission upshift, the engine is hitting rev limit\(DFS Sales Code Only\). ?Service Suspension? message in Instrument Panel Cluster \(IPC\) on start up. Customers may also experience a Malfunction Indicator Lamp \(MIL\) illumination. Upon further investigationthe technician may find that the one or more of the following Diagnostic Trouble Codes \(DTCs\) have been set: P0133 \- O2 Sensor 1/1 Slow Response. P0153 \- O2 Sensor 2/1 Slow Response. P0171 \- Fuel System 1/1 Lean. P0174 \- Fuel System 2/1 Lean. P0300 \- Multiple Cylinder Misfire. P0301 \- Cylinder 1 Misfire. P0302 \- Cylinder 2 Misfire. P0303 \- Cylinder 3 Misfire. P0304 \- Cylinder 4 Misfire. P0305 \- Cylinder 5 Misfire. P0306 \- Cylinder 6 Misfire. P0307 \- Cylinder 7 Misfire. P0308 \- Cylinder 8 Misfire.
