# Service bulletin SIL\-3011

A bulletin is a manufacturer's communication to its dealers, as NHTSA indexes it. The summary is NHTSA's. The document is the manufacturer's: read it at NHTSA. A bulletin is not a recall, and listing a model year does not mean every vehicle of it is concerned.

## NHTSA's summary

Altec has determined there is a missing diode that allows feedback from the auxiliary air compressor to the ignition in certain vehicles equipped with CB5 cranes built from August 2021 to June 2022. This feedback prevents the engine on the affected units from being turned off if the auxiliary air compressor switch is in the On position.
