## NHTSA's summary

In some 2022MY Isuzu F\-Series trucks, an optional Diesel Particulate Filter \(DPF\) Regeneration "Inhibit" Switch was installed by mistake instead of the DPF Regeneration "Force" Switch. As a result, the vehicle operator will not be able to "Force" \(Start\) a DPF regeneration manually. Also, because the Engine Control Module \(ECM\) was not programmed for the mistakenly installed optional DPF Regeneration Inhibit Switch to function, the "Inhibit" function is not available.
