Service bulletin ONLJ8F20220830
A bulletin is a manufacturer's communication to its dealers, as NHTSA indexes it. The summary is NHTSA's. The document is the manufacturer's: read it at NHTSA. A bulletin is not a recall, and listing a model year does not mean every vehicle of it is concerned.

NHTSA's summary
Owner notification - Our records indicate that a Emissions Recall has not been completed on this vehicle. When the powertrain control module (PCM) detects a malfunction in one of the odd number transmission gears, it will set one of four diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs). Due to inappropriate calibration of the PCM, the On Board Diagnostic (OBD) system cannot properly clear the transmission permanent DTC as required.

| BTS170202 | 2018-01-29. Service bulletin. Tech line summary article - If there?s an EVAP system leak from the filler neck (DTC P0455 [EVAP system large leak detected] or P0456 [EVAP system very small leak detected] is set), don?t replace the fuel fill pipe! Instead, replace the mis-fuel inhibit device and the main flap unit. Acura parts stock carries replacement parts just for this purpose. |
