Service bulletin SC-2022080007
A bulletin is a manufacturer's communication to its dealers, as NHTSA indexes it. The summary is NHTSA's. The document is the manufacturer's: read it at NHTSA. A bulletin is not a recall, and listing a model year does not mean every vehicle of it is concerned.

NHTSA's summary
Mercedes-Benz AG ("MBAG"), the manufacturer of Mercedes-Benz vehicles, has determined that on certain Model Year (“MY”) 2012-2016 GLK-Class, E-Class, ML-Class, GLE-Class, and GL-Class (204, 212 and166 platforms) vehicles, an incorrect NOx sensor, Diesel Particulate Filter (DPF), Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR) catalyst and/or Particulate Matter (PM) sensor may have been installed, which may not correspond to the specifications set forth in the “BlueTEC update” Approved Emission Modification (AEM) program. The incorrect hardware may potentially result in increased exhaust gas emissions. What We’re Doing MBUSA will conduct an Emission Service Campaign in which an authorized Mercedes-Benz dealer will check and replace (if necessary), the necessary exhaust system hardware on the affected vehicles
