# Service bulletin V\-RC\-2021070026

A bulletin is a manufacturer's communication to its dealers, as NHTSA indexes it. The summary is NHTSA's. The document is the manufacturer's: read it at NHTSA. A bulletin is not a recall, and listing a model year does not mean every vehicle of it is concerned.

## Other bulletins for the same vehicles and component

- [TIF\-021](/bulletins/10216861.md), 2022-08-02, Service bulletin: ENGINE AND ENGINE COOLING:ENGINE:ENGINE CONTROL MODULE \(ECU/ECM\):SOFTWARE; EQUIPMENT; POWER TRAIN:AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION:CONTROL MODULE:SOFTWARE. Mercedes\-Benz has initiated a Recall Campaign for Model Year 2020 Sprinter vehicles to update the Engine Control Unit \(ECU\) software and Transmission Control Unit \(TCU\) software in these vehicles. To ensure your vehicle is in compliance with emissions regulations and is covered by the full protection of the emission warranty provisions, it is recommended that you have your vehicle serviced as soon as possible. Failure to do so could be deemed a lack of proper maintenance on your vehicle. This Recall Campaign does not cover any other components, and standard warranty terms and exclusions apply to those components.
