## NHTSA's summary

The Quantum special permit SP\-16524 that allows for these trailers to operate on public highways was amended by DOT in April, 2022 to include a provision requiring that all trailers be retrofit with a Sway Stability Control \(SSC\) system by no later than January 30, 2023. this bulletin advises customers that any VP\-10 series trailer that is not already equipped with a SSC system, must be retrofit with a SSC system January 30, 2023.
