NHTSA's summary
Released a communication to dealers to inform them that GEM has shipped units to dealers with missing motor controller covers. Once the covers are available, they will be automatically shipped to dealers at no charge to install on the vehicle. Once dealers install the missing motor controller cover on a vehicle and the warranty claim is processed, the registration block for this Dealer Hold will be removed so they can register the vehicle.
